Privacy Policy
Effective November 3, 2026
Hallway Stories, Inc. operates hallwaystories.com and The Daily Call. This policy explains how we handle information collected through our website, registrations, and communications.
Information we collect
We collect information you choose to submit, such as your first and last name, email address, optional mobile number, selected interests, and messages. If you choose a texting option, we record your selection, the consent wording and version, submission page, and submission time. Our hosting and communication providers may also process technical information such as IP addresses, browser information, delivery records, and email opens or link clicks when those features are enabled.
How we use information
We use registration information to administer the study or gathering you requested, send confirmation and welcome emails, provide joining details and reminders, respond to questions, and maintain our community and website. Any invitation to receive broader updates should identify those updates when you sign up. You can unsubscribe from emails using the link in the message.
Service providers and outside links
Netlify hosts our website and processes form submissions. Kit processes email subscriptions and sends emails. Registration details may be stored in Netlify; first names and email addresses are also sent to Kit. Authorized team members may access information to administer these activities. We may use an SMS provider when our texting program launches; it is not currently active.
If you choose to join Zoom, GroupMe, or Facebook, or follow a link to Amazon or Stripe, those services process information under their own policies. Other participants may see information you share in a group or meeting. Do not post confidential information about yourself or others.
Text messaging
A mobile number is optional. Providing it does not by itself subscribe you to texts. Texting consent is separate from email signup and is not required to join a free study or make a purchase. If you choose to opt in, we may use your number for recurring study and event reminders and invitations after the program launches and any required verification is completed. We will not send automated program texts until the service is configured.
We do not sell or share mobile numbers or SMS opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We may share that information with service providers only as needed to operate the messaging service, or as required by law. Email unsubscribe and text unsubscribe are separate choices. When texting is active, reply STOP to stop texts or HELP for help. You can also contact us by email.
Other disclosures
We do not sell registration information. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect people or our rights, or to providers helping operate our services. If there is a corporate reorganization or transfer, information may be transferred subject to applicable law and this policy.
Stories, prayer requests, and recordings
Please share only information you are comfortable disclosing. Stories and prayer requests may reveal sensitive information, including religious beliefs or health information. Signing up for a study does not grant permission to publish your testimony, image, or voice. We will seek separate permission before using your contribution publicly. Meeting recording practices and choices will be communicated before recording.
Cookies and tracking
Our site and service providers may use cookies or similar tools for functionality, security, and communications measurement. Third-party sites linked from this website may use their own tracking. We do not currently offer a website response to browser Do Not Track signals. You can manage cookies in your browser and unsubscribe from emails.
Retention, security, and your choices
We keep information as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, legal obligations, and records of consent or opt-outs. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online service can promise absolute security. To request access, correction, or deletion, or ask about rights available where you live, email info@hallwaystories.com. We may verify your identity and retain limited records needed to honor an unsubscribe or meet legal requirements.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 submitted personal information, contact us so we can review and remove it as appropriate.
Changes and contact
We will post changes here with an updated effective date and provide additional notice when required. Questions or privacy requests can be directed to:

Testimony submissions and event requests
If you submit a testimony, we collect the story, related Scripture, video preferences, your name, email, and permission to contact you. Stories may include religious beliefs and other personal information. Share only information you are comfortable providing. We use submissions for review and follow-up; publication requires a separate confirmation with you. Event requests and waitlist details are used to send the information you requested. These forms are stored through Netlify; they do not automatically subscribe you to Kit marketing emails. Contact info@hallwaystories.com to withdraw a request or ask about deletion.
Optional AI-assisted testimony editing
Our guided form collects your account of life before, how Jesus met you, what changed, and any optional details you choose to provide. If you explicitly opt in, our team may use an AI writing service to organize those answers into a draft. Only information needed for drafting should be provided to that service; contact details and notes marked private should be excluded. We review the draft with you and request separate publication approval. You can request editing without AI by leaving the optional permission unchecked. Contact info@hallwaystories.com with questions or to withdraw permission before processing.
